Equatorial Guinea 14

I'm carrying Jaime (my best friend’s baby) the traditional way. Carrying babies in this fashion not only allows the mother to work freely, but the baby is usually calmed by the mother’s movement, warmth, and heartbeat. In addition, the baby is less likely to form Rickets, a deformation of the legs. Photo by Christine Strater.
