In addition to the Peace Gallery, a website on home energy efficiency is currently being built at www.HomeEnergyChecklist.org. The goal of the site is to make a simple checklist homeowners can use to take advantage of the highest priority and easiest ways to save energy in the home.

The site is based on the interest generated by a single page about refrigerator power consumption. On the page electricity usage was monitored for eight months. At that point a newer, energy efficient refrigerator was purchased and electricity was monitored for an additional eight months. The results of home energy use were then graphed showing a dramatic reduction in home energy consumption.

Encouraged by the heavy use of the page www.HomeEnergyChecklist.org is now under construction.
